Mission STATEMENT:
In obedience to the word of God, Harvest Fire Worship Center will: establish a sustained offensive position of prayer and fasting, intercession and Warfare together with studying and applying the Word of God as the only recommended weapons for destroying the kingdom of darkness.
(II Corinthians 10: 3-6; Luke18 :1; 1Thessalonians 5:17).
Objectives
- To establish a sustained effective prayer culture among the believers that will stir their hearts to pray.
- To sensitize members:
- the need and practice of praying God’s heart.
- help the believers to practice prevailing prayer.
- To identify the intercessors who would pray, fast and conduct warfare for the leadership.
SCOPE – In keeping with the Mission Statement
Prayer and Fasting Schedule
- Fast on the day of the week that shows the letter which begins your surname. Fasting on Wednesdays in the Sanctuary.
- Conduct prayer, morning, evening and all night, the last Friday of each month.
- Establish the Hour of Power on Sunday Evenings.
- Pray for at least 15 minutes before every Departmental meeting.
- Conduct regular prayer walk in and around the community.
- Encourage Personal/Corporal intercession.
- Encourage collaborative prayer between churches in Miami Gardens - including civic leaders, when possible
- Organize prayer Conferences, intercessor’s workshops/seminars.
- Pray for the 10/40 window nations.
ACCOUNTABILITY
- Leaders must be faithful stewards in their service to God – e.g. attend Bible Study, Prayer Meeting etc.
- Each department should establish a time of prayer with its member.
- Families are encouraged to develop the strongest devotional relationship with God in their homes as they can.
PRAYER CARE
- Intercede daily for each other
- 24 hour prayer chain among members
